Spring is officially in the air, which means many engaged couples are starting to plan their 2026 weddings. From setting the date, planning the menu, scoping out vendors, and choosing the perfect reception venue, wedding planning in Casper, Wyoming, can be both fun and stressful. The Casper/Natrona County International Airport (C/NCIA) observation deck is a unique, spacious venue that’s sure to impress! Here’s everything you need to know about booking the C/NCIA observation deck.
Event Space
C/NCIA’s 2nd-floor observation deck has witnessed its share of special occasions, including weddings. Beyond the exclusive, private space, the floor-to-ceiling windows offer a panoramic view of the airfield, creating a truly exceptional backdrop for your special day. With ample parking, bar and beverage services available, and outside catering welcome, the C/NCIA observation deck can accommodate larger gatherings in this one-of-a-kind atmosphere. The space is approximately 5,000 square feet (100’ x 50’), includes 20 eight-foot banquet tables and 150 matching stacker chairs, and can hold 350 people in a reception format.
Cost & Renter Responsibility
It costs $500 per day with a $600 deposit to reserve the observation deck for your event. As the renter of the space, you are responsible for setting up before your event and cleaning up after the party has wrapped. To ensure a safe evening, guests can enjoy your event until midnight, and then everyone must be cleared out of the observation deck. A C/NCIA staff member will review details with you the day before your event; however, should an issue arise during your event, C/NCIA custodians and Public Safety officers are available to assist or can contact the best person to do so.
Food & Drink
If you’re looking for a reception space that doesn’t limit your catering options, this is it. When you rent the observation deck, you can enjoy the food and beverage supplier of your choice. However, the SkyTerrace Restaurant and Lounge offers a portable bar with kegs and a full bar menu (at an added cost, depending on the size of the party). C/NCIA does not provide food services for events, so your caterer of choice must prepare the food in advance and bring all supplies needed to feed the party!
Extra Perks
To add to the ambiance of your celebrations, you have full use of the overhead projector and overhead speakers where a DJ can ignite your guests on the dance floor. Additionally, you and your guests receive free parking in our protected parking lot as well as elevator use for set-up and tear-down, and enhanced accessibility.
