Announcements

Casper/Natrona County International Airport had a monumental year with the highest passenger count in 10 years. Ending 2025 with over 100,000 passengers, we are proud to celebrate a record year. Beyond the runway, C/NCIA hit other milestones and advanced on major projects thanks to continued support from our community, Natrona County, and the State. We are thrilled to share these achievements and more in our 2025 Annual Report.

Looking Back on 2025

In 2025, we saw a decrease in average airfare and, as a result, exceeded the 100,000-passenger enplanement mark (103,763, to be exact) for the first time in 10 years. 2025 was the second full operational year for the new BLM Single Engine Air Tanker and Large Air Tanker base. Additionally, in partnership with the Wyoming State Forestry Department (WSFD), construction of the new WSFD helibase began in June 2025, adding to the list of wildfire operations at the Airport. In May, the Airport also began construction on a 17,000-square-foot addition to the current 28,000-square-foot snow removal equipment storage and maintenance facility. Finally, project design for the Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) advanced from 60% to 90% completion in 2025.

Looking Ahead to 2026

As excited as we are about passenger growth and project advancement, we remain dedicated to quality air service. We are always looking for opportunities to improve, host larger aircraft, increase flight frequencies, connect to new hub cities, and more. As for what’s ahead: Airports are always in some phase of construction, either designing projects or executing the actual project execution. In 2026, we anticipate completing our snow maintenance facility, the WSFD helibase, and a 100% complete design of the ATCT. As always, in 2026, we will continue to actively listen to community requests and do our best to meet your needs.

Beyond the Runway

At the Airport, so much happens beyond the runway. As a local connection to travel, event space, storage, rental and leasing opportunities, business facilities, pilot training, local events, and more, the Airport continues to be a driving force behind Casper’s economic growth.

All this and more can be found in our 2025 Annual Report.
